The Lightning X Zip Stitch Kit is a compact, portable all-in-one first aid solution to treat minor to moderate cuts and lacerations in the field, where traditional stitches would be required. Our zip stitches offer a pain-free alternative to sutures, skin glue and butterfly bandages. This comprehensive emergency kit has everything you need to quickly and completely close a wound in the field. In addition to 6 wound closure zips, our LXSMK-ZIP kit includes:

● 2 x 4″ x 4″ woven gauze pads
● 2″ x 5yd Self-Adherent Wrap
● 2″ x 5yd Rolled Stretch Gauze
● 4 x Nitrile Exam Gloves
● Prep Pad for cleansing the wound
● Resealable Zip Pouch for storage.

Each zip stitch has 2 adjustable clasps that allow you to customize the tension of the closure, depending on the size of the cut. Multiple zip stitches can be used for larger lacerations, and once closed can be covered in absorbent rolled gauze and then secured with self-adherent coban wrap to protect the wound from contamination. All of this allows for virtually pain-free treatment of open wounds when emergency care is minutes or hours away such as camping, hiking, biking, fishing, construction – or can be used as part of a larger first responder EMT trauma kit.
