Description
The LXPB50 from Lightning X is designed to universally attach to any vehicle headrest, or alternately any MOLLE compatible gear or bag with at least 5 rows of loops. The main bag attaches to the rear base via a hook & loop panel so that it can be easily removed in the event of an emergency with only the pull of your hand. Additionally, the bag can be opened while still attached to the base on a headrest and three tiered panels are revealed.
The top two panels have various sizes of elastic tool loops in addition to pockets for storing supplies. The bottom panel is a zippered mesh compartment that is also easily removable via the hook & loop attachment to the bag. The rear attachment panel is reinforced so that it is strong enough to attach to the headrest or bag without sagging, but is pliable enough to contour to the shape of your headrest.
Finally, the front of the bag is covered with a laser-cut hook & loop MOLLE panel for storing additional tools, mounting morale patches, or attaching additional MOLLE gear. This panel comes with a rubber RED CROSS emblem included with the bag. With dimensions of 10.5″L x 8.5″W x 4.5″H, this bag is large enough to hold a well equipped gunshot/hemorrhage kit, or a multi-person first aid kit. Includes a limited lifetime warranty from Lightning X Products.

I recently purchased a LXPB50 to upgrade my vehicle medical kit. I spend a lot of time in the mountains base jumping, skiing and hiking so I cannot depend on first responders to be able to locate and access myself or my friends within a timely manner. Having this bag for emergencies gives me some peace of mind and the freedom to go out off the beaten path. I also work in the skydiving industry and I’ve found it very useful to have a kit that allows me to do everything from stabilize a compound fracture on a limb; to stopping a massive hemorrhage. For example a 36” Sam splint fits perfectly inside one of the many pockets and I have an externally mounted CAT from NAR and a leatherman raptor shears on the MOLLE. I like having the option to put another tourniquet and shears on the exterior of the bag because it allows me to put more inside. Overall, I am super happy with this product and I’ll definitely look into more of your gear when setting up my next kit. As a former Carolina kid I am always happy to support businesses back home! Great small trauma / personal first aid kit bag. The bag fits quite a bit of stuff in a compact manner. I managed to fit chest seals, gauze pads, bandages, tape, folded splint, shears, tourniquet, drugs, burn pad, creams, eye wash, spO2 monitor, cpr mask, tweezers, duct tape and more in there.

As I mentioned in my previous review, we came back for more! This bag is used for our custom 72-hour Aviation Survival kit. EVERYTHING you see in the picture fits nicely in this bag with some room to spare. Don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s too big though. At 5 lbs fully loaded, it sits nicely behind the headrest of the pilot’s seat. If you are looking for something to use as a vehicle, or light aircraft, survival kit bag this is exactly what you need!

Awesome bag! This is going to be used as a small aircraft headrest mounted survival kit. The ability to rapidly egress a burning crashed airplane is critical. Mounting this behind the pilot’s head allows for him/her to grab it on the way out. Excellent product, we intend to buy many more.
