We read your reviews and are constantly making improvements to make our bags better. 25+ years in the bag business have taught us what works and what doesn't. But the fire service is constantly evolving, and your feedback provides us valuable insight on how we can make better, stronger products. Some things like stitching and fabric denier you may never notice, but others are very visible. Here are a few things that we've recently improved upon for our LXFB10 gear bags.

Extra large, heavy-duty Vislon nylon zipper teeth. Metal coil zippers get bent easily, and also collect dirty and grim, causing premature failure. Our zippers actually break in and improve over time (Pro Tip: apply a coating of lip balm to the zipper teeth before first use for effortless zipper glide)
Our newly improved PVC reinforced bottom wraps around the entire lower portion of the bag, and provides important protection against wear and tear
Yellow-silver triple trim reflective tape on both sides of the bag keeps you visible day and night, and is reinforced with leather binding to prevent curling on the edges of the reflective webbing
New M.O.L.L.E. patch on top of the bag allows for an added embroidered name patch, or can be used to store tools and apply morale patches in lieu of a customized name patch
Our FIRE DEPT maltese cross logo is custom embroidered with over 30,000 stitches. Similar bags are screen printed, which cracks and breaks off over time, if they have a logo at all
The FB10 now includes hi-vis fluorescent and reflective double zipper pulls on all compartments, large enough to be opened and closed with a gloved hand

The LXFB10 is the Original firefighter step-in turnout gear bag! Designed over the course of 20+ years of customer feedback from firefighters just like you, the LXFB10 is the best of the best. Large enough to hold all of your turnout gear from boot to helmet, the bag is tough enough to withstand just about any of the wear and tear you can throw its way thanks to a heavy-duty water-resistant nylon construction, diamond-embossed PVC reinforced bottom and sides, and “FIREFIGHTER” weave webbing straps. More importantly, your gear bag will always be visible on the scene of an emergency with our 4-way reflective trim stitched right into the bag and straps. But what good is a heavy-duty bag without a way to keep your supplies organized inside it? The FB10 also has tons of pockets and compartments so you’ll always know where to find your wallet, and you can trust that your change of clothes is still clean and dry.

Now includes a hook & loop MOLLE patch on the top flap that can be used for storing tools, displaying morale or department patches, or add one of our custom embroidered patches with your name, rank and/or department info.

The best bag I’ve ever had. The embroidery is nice and clean great color options for that and the bag is a great size to carry all my fire gear. I had my bag one day and already ordered a medic bag and another fire bag for one of my fellow fireman since he like mine so much.

I ordered the LXFB10 with embroidery. This is an excellent well made bag with good strong zippers. The embroidery is solid and will not come off. It’s the perfect bag for floating from station to station (which I do). I looked at the bags with rollers that work like traditional luggage, but I wanted something that can collapse if I need to throw the bag in a locker, and this bag was it. If a person floats or is new and going to a lot of training, this bag is for them.

Just got my bag today. Let me tell you, this product is EXACTLY as advertised. I’m 6’6″, 290lbs with a 14 boot, and I was able to stand inside the bag, dress down, and had plenty of room to so. The amount of storage space is unbelievable. The stitching is heavy duty, the straps are solid. Overall, I would definitely recommend this bag to any Firefighter, period!
